Importance of our place

Nowadays the importance of our personal place is debatable. Some people are convinced that things surrounding us can reveal our inner world, while others consider that a soulless space cannot talk.

I agree with the point of view that objects we fill our own room with show our personality and actually say who we are and what we are. First and foremost, all these purchased, got or hand-made things like books, photos and souvenirs, uncover our preferences touching the depths of one`s psychology. Besides, there is a lot to be said for character traits glancing at the order or disorder. It is easily to recognize a pedant or a creative person, hardworking or a lazy one.

Nevertheless, we can find an opposing opinion among people who are sure that it is useless to judge a man being at his or her place. They say that a lot of rooms are standard and similar in modern flats. The furniture is just the same too: ordinary and faceless.

However, I would not agree with the above mentioned idea. I am firmly convinced that our space is a part of our life. It means people`s rooms are not mute walls, they have a direct connection with their masters via composition, favourire colours and style.

Taking all this into consideration, I strongly believe our shelter is a definite source of hidden information and a light at our unique nature.
