• Alla lived with her mother in a house in

• Oborony Street.

• The girl worked in a factory by day, studied at school in the evenings and delivered leaflets at night. Alla made up her mind to go to the courses of radio operators and became the member of the underground organization. The young girl perished on the 31 st of May in 1943 near the village of Pavlovka, Donetskaya region. In the centre of Pavlovka there is a memorial obelisk with the names of thirteen partisans perished here. The name of Alla Shirazi is among them.

The opening of the memorial plaque on the wall of the house in 27, Ulyanovskaya Street took place on the 24 th of July, 1970. There were the names of the young heroes, pupils of school №35 who gave their lives saving wounded Russian soldiers during the 1 st and the 2 nd fascist occupations of Rostov-on-Don.

We shall always remember the names of Kolya Kizim, Vanya Zyatev, Igor Neigof, Kolya Belenkii (Sidorenko), Vitya Protsenko.

This is a photo of one of the young boys- Kolya Kizim. When the Hitlerite agressors occupied Rostov for the first time Kolya and his schoolmates hid the wounded Russian soldiers. His mother and their neighbours gave them food and treated them.

On July 23, 1942 the conquerors succeeded in coming to Rostov again. The boys hid the wounded and the soldiers who hadn’t managed to leave the city with the Russian troops. The fascists found the courageous pupils. On July 24 th , 1942 the young heroes and the soldiers who they tried to save were shot in the yard of the house in Ulyanovskaya Street.

The monument was erected on the grave of the young heroes , pupils of school №35.

It was the greatest of love for the Motherland and unshakable faith in the just and fair victory over fascism, that made the ordinary peaceful and peaceloving young people join the fight against the most heartless and inhuman conquerors and oppressors.

We shall always remember and respect the memory of those who ennobled themselves through heroic deeds in the name of the Motherland.
