по английскому языку

6 класс

Тема урока: Масленица.

Цель мероприятия: познакомить учащихся с традициями праздника «Масленица».

Задачи мероприятия:

• развивать навыки говорения, диалогические и монологические навыки;

• развитие навыков поискового чтения;

• развитие произносительных навыков;

• уметь работать с инструкцией;

• воспитывать патриотизм и толерантное отношение к своей стране.

Планируемые результаты:

знать слова по теме урока «Масленица»;

умение слушать и слышать речь других оппонентов;

умение составлять собственные высказывания по теме урока;

умение работать в парах и группах.

Техническое обеспечение урока: компьютер, презентация

Дополнительное методическое и дидактическое обеспечение урока: кукла солнце, блины, тематические картинки картинки, творческие работы учащихся (красочно оформленные рецепты блинов).

(Перед началом мероприятия учащиеся делятся на команды).

Ход мероприятия.

I. Организационный момент.

1. Приветствие.

T. Good morning, pupils!

P. Good morning, teacher!

T. Nice to see you!

P. Nice to see you too!

T. How are you?

P. Very well, thank you! And you?

T. I’m well, thank you. Sit down.

2. Фонетическая зарядка .

T. Repeat after me.

3. Целеполагание.

T: Answer my question. What season is it now?

P: It’s winter.

T: Right you are. In Winter we celebrate many holidays. What are they.

P: They are New Year, Christmas, St. Valentine’s Day.

T: There is one more Holiday. What is it? Let’ guess.

Итак, первое задание отгадать слово – название праздника! Каждая цифра это порядковый номер буквы английского алфавита.

We’ll soon celebrate MASLENITSA

The favorite holiday of all Russian people.

We will sing and dance and play,

Bake and eat blini that day.

II. Основной этап.

1. Развитие навыков диалогической и монологической речи

Развитие навыков говорения.

T: Let’s listen how Russian people celebrate this holiday.

(рассказывают о празднике).

Pupil 1: There are many holidays and traditions in our country.
Pupil 2: One of them is Maslenitsa. It's an ancient Russian holiday, which dates back to the 9-th century. This holiday lasts for a week.
Pupil 3: Russian people celebrate it at the end of February or at the beginning of March.
Pupil 4: They say "good-bye" to winter in these days.
Pupil 5: It is an old tradition to cook blini and eat them with sour cream, caviar, honey and butter.
Pupil 6: Blin is the symbol of the sun.
Pupil 7: Maslenitsa is the most cheerful of all Russian holidays.
Pupil 8: During this holiday we celebrate the beginning of spring. Not to participate in this holiday means to live in poverty for the rest of the year. Each days of Maslenitsa has its own rituals.

Pupil 9: Usually this holiday is celebrated in parks and squares. People dance, sing, toboggan, build ice sculptures.
Pupil 10: People prepare fires and burn straw scarecrows scarecrows of winter. On Sunday during Maslenitsa, they forgive people for their offences.

WHAT ARE THE SYMBOLS OF MASLENITSA

4. Guessing game

1) T. Let’s help Mr. Wolf to find all ingredients, make a shopping list and bake pancakes. Riddles will help you! (Pupils guess the riddles)

1. Clean, but not water,
   White, but not snow,
   Sweet, but not ice-cream,
   what is it?
   (Sugar)

1. It is white. Little children usually drink it. (Milk)

1. It is white outside and yellow inside. (Egg)

1. They don't eat me alone,
   But cannot eat without me. 
   What am I? (Salt)

2. Look at the screen and guess another ingredients. (Flour)

5.And now help Mr Wolf to bake the blini.

Let’s start cooking! Put the ingredients in order according to the recipe.

(На листках бумаги записан порядок приготовления блинов, но предложения разрезаны. Команды должны правильно распределить предложения по порядку).

Let’s read the instruction and put the pictures into the correct order.

1. Put the flour in the bowl. Add a little salt.

2. Add the egg and the milk.

3. Mix it with a spoon.

4. Heat some butter in a frying pan.

5. Cook the pancake.

6. Turn the pancake over.

1 Eat them with some butter

2 Cook for 3 minutes.

3Put them in a big pot

4 Take а half liter of milk and 2 eggs some flour some salt some sugar

5 When the pancakes are dark yellow they are ready

6 Mix them well

7 Pour some mixture into a frying pan

T: Now I suggest you to feel the atmosphere of the holiday and hold “Pancake Races”. It’s a traditional game in Great Britain on Pancake Day. So, let’s start.

And now let's see what you have learnt about the holiday. You'll do a short quizю

(команды получают получают листочки с заданием. После выполнения сверяем ответы ).
