Great! Now listen to the story “The Three Little Pigs”.

Once upon a time there were three little pigs.

They lived with their mother in a small house. One day their mother sent them off to build houses of their own.

As the first little pig walked down the road, he met a farmer pulling a cart of hay. It looked very warm - just right for building a house, so the first little pig asked the farmer if he could take some hay. The farmer agreed. As a result, the first little pig built his house out of hay.

A little way down the road, the second little pig saw a woodcutter with a cart of wood. It looked thick and long - just right for building a house, so the second little pig asked the woodcutter if he could take some wood. The woodcutter agreed, and the second little pig built his wooden house.

The third little pig ran down the road. After a short time, he met a builder pulling a cart full of bricks. They looked very strong - just right for building a house, so the third little pig asked the builder if he could take some bricks. The builder agreed. As a result, the third little pig built his house out of bricks.

Soon all three little pigs had a house of their own, and they were very happy.

Then, one day, a big bad wolf came walking along the road.

He saw the first little pig in his house of hay. The wolf knocked on the pig’s door with an evil glint in his eyes and said:

“Little pig, little pig, let me come in!”

“No, no, no! You are a bad wolf! I will not let you in!” – cried the little pig.

“Then I will puff, and I will blow your house down!” – growled the wolf.

The little pig got frightened. Then the wolf started to puff and blew the hay house down. The first little pig started to run, and he ran all the way to his brother’s wooden house. When the second little pig saw his brother, he asked:

“Dear brother, what happened?”

“The bad wolf came to my house and blew it down! What should I do now?” – cried the first little pig.

“Oh, no! That’s terrible! Come into my wooden house and let’s live together!”

“Oh, okay. Thank you so much!”

Soon the wolf was near the wooden house. He knocked on the door and said:

“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”

“No, no, no! You are a bad wolf! We won’t let you in!” – cried the little pigs.

“Then I will puff, and I will blow your house down!” – growled the wolf.

The little pigs got frightened. Then the wolf started to puff and blew the wooden house down. The two little pigs started to run, and they ran as fast as they could all the way to their brother’s brick house. When the third little pig saw his brothers, he asked:

“Dear brothers, what happened?”

“The bad wolf came to my hay house and blew it down!”

“Then the wolf came to my wooden house and blew it down too. What should we do now?” – cried the little pigs.

“Oh, no, brothers! That’s terrible! Come into my brick house and let’s live together!”

“Oh, thank you so much! You are so kind!”

Soon the wolf was near the brick house. He knocked on the door and said:

“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”

“No, no, no! We won’t let you in!” – cried the three little pigs.

“Then I will puff, and I will blow your house down!” – roared the wolf in his loudest voice.

The little pigs got frightened. Then the wolf started to puff. He puffed and puffed, but he couldn’t blow down the brick house.

The big bad wolf got very angry. He looked at the house and saw the chimney. As quick as a flash, he climbed up onto the roof and into the chimney. But the big bad wolf was in for a BIG surprise.

The third little pig had been cooking soup, and there was a big pot of boiling soup on fire. The wolf slid down the chimney and landed right in it.

Then the foolish wolf jumped out of the pot with a loud howl and ran out of the house. Then he ran off down the road! The three little pigs never saw him again, so they lived happily ever after!
