Most fruit and vegetables contain a low amount of calories. As a result, they can help us to lose weight.

Some fruit and vegetables contain vitamin C, which is good for our teeth and protects the body from cold and flu diseases.

There are lots of different vegetables and fruit in the world. They differ in colour, size and taste and have certain useful properties.

Parents teach their children to eat as many vegetables and fruit as possible from early childhood, because vegetables and fruit are good for children’s bodies and can help them to stay healthy.
