Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации

Цели урока:

практическая: развитие навыков говорения;

образовательная:

  • формировать речевые навыки (выражение согласия и несогласия на предложение);

  • развивать лексические навыки;

развивающая:

  • развивать умение аргументировать и доказывать свое мнение;

  • развивать внимание и воображение;

  • развивать лингвистическое мышление, интерес к предмету;

воспитывающая:

  • воспитывать культуру общения, речи и поведения;

  • способствовать развитию взаимодействия в коллективе.

Методы работы: наглядный, практический и игровой.

Формы работы: фронтальная, индивидуальная, групповая.





Plan

  1. Beginning of the lesson.

- Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you today.

- Let’s start our lesson. Repeat after me:

It’s time to think! It’s time to speak! It’s time to show! Steady, Ready - Go!

Phonetic warming up.

-To start our travelling, we should read a magic poem. First of all, let’s listen to it.

- And our task is not just to read, but do it in different voices: like a frog, a little kid, a robot, a monster. So, who wants to try?...

- Well done! And now we can start your journey.

T raveler’s rules (Must/mustn’t) (going to Russia)

- We start and now I want you to guess what we are going to travel by. Listen to the sound of transport. So, What’s this?...

-You are right: we are going to travel by car.

- And how do you think what country we are going? – Ss’ answers.

- Let’s check, … is (are) right, we are going to Russia.

- While we’re in the car, it’s time to remember the traveler’s rules. Look at the board. Your task is to put the rules in to two groups Must and Mustn’t.

- Well done! Let’s go on.


  1. Active vocabulary (going to India).

- And now we are going to another country. Listen to the sound of transport. So, What’s this?...

-You are right: we are going to travel by train. And how do you think what country we are going? – Ss’ predictions.

- Let’s see, … is (are) right, we are going to India.

- Well, we’re in India now. And what we see –people speak different language. It’s Hindi, the official Indian Language. What should we do? – Ss’ answers.

- Yeah, you’re right. We’ll speak English, because India is an English-speaking country.

- We will practice our active vocabular. And the first task is “To unjumble the words”.

F ina an orange card on your desk and do the task (unjumble the words and make a sentence)

Well done!

The next task is to do the crossword.

Travel options (listening) (going to Australia)

- So, we can go on. Listen to the sound of transport again. What’s this?...

-You are right: we are going to travel by helicopter. And how do you think what country we are going? – Ss’ answers.

- Let’s check, … is (are) right, we are going to Australia.

-Well, here we will speak about travel options. Look at the bord. What travel options do you know? Where do you usually travel? What travel option do you choose for the coming summer? What travelling do you dream about? – Ss’ answers.

-Listen to Alex and say what his favourite travel option is. How does he explain it? – Ss’ answers.

-Listen again and fill in missing words. Let’s check up.

-Well done!

-In groups speak about your travel options. Use the bord.


  1. Different ways of travelling (going to the USA).

-So, let’s visit another country. Listen to the next sound of transport. What’s this?...

-You are right: we are going to travel by plane. And how do you think what country we are going? – Ss’ answers.

- Let’s see, … is (are) right, we are going to the USA.

-And now we will speak about different means of transport.

-Look at the pictures and say how people can travel.

-Which means of transport are land, air and sea transport?

- What is your favourite means of transport?

- What are the most important things you need for travelling? Add your ideas.

What do you like to do while travelling? Look at the box and answer the questions.

  1. Reflection.

- Well, my friends, our journey is practically over. We have to go back home. Last time guess the transport that we will use to go home…

- Absolutely right. We are going home by bus. So, tell me what countries we have visited. What were we travelling by? And what country did you like most?

  1. Hometask, summing up.

- And your hometask will be to write about our travelling:

Write a paragraph about your favourite way of travelling. Explain why you like it and what you need to do to get ready for travelling. Use the mind map.

- Your marks for today are… Thanks for your work! Good-bye!
